Avionics Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc.
2. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.

Basic Qualifications:
1. Equivalent years of hands on experience with the operations of radio frequency (RF) systems (EW or Radar) or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.

Desired skills
1. Laboratory and/or Flight Test of Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS), Radar Systems or Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) Systems.
2. Any familiarity with JSF avionics suite or systems engineering processes.
3. JSF program clearance.
4. Good communication and analytical skills.
5. Experience designing, programming and testing mission data
6. Experience in data analysis of Combat Integrated Mission System
7. Experience with Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR)
8. Hands on lab testing of RF systems
9. Experience with Foreign Military Exploitations (FME)
10. Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Database applications

1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
