Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer (Elevator Industry)

Description:
The candidate will:
• Manage high complexity design and planning of layout for assembly and materials handling
• Adapt machines or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• Plan Sequence of Operations and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance

They will be responsible for designing and improving existing material flow process within manufacturing to meet the ever-increasing performance demands.

The primary responsibilities of the position are as follows:
• Lead Work Cell design initiatives to support customer demand by implementing lean material flow throughout value stream
• Support automation initiatives by developing smart robotic fixtures and conveyors while maintaining safe work environments to reduce ergonomic risks and increase efficiency
• Support and develop smart manufacturing applications to ensure quality and repeatability within various manufacturing processes
• Support Continuous improvement and expand the use of ACE tools.
• In depth knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, electronic wiring, and testing processes
