Summary:

  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes. Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. An Advanced Engineering Technician job in Scottsdale, AZ is currently available through Belcan with one of our premiere defense industry clients. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. To be considered for this role, you will have an Associate's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Advanced Engineering Technician Job duties:

Field Service Representatives

Description:
STS Technical Services is hiring Field Service Representatives at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina to join the largest military vehicle upgrade project in US history, the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV).

Overall, FSR will provide full classroom instruction (FLMNET/OPNET) to soldiers on ; powertrain, cooling, electrical charging, suspension, heating and ventilation, steering and system integration support of ancillary equipment. The FSR will also help to provide orientation to key personnel with respect to operations, maintenance, repair and parts supply as well as support efforts for equipment retrofits at Camp Pendleton.

As a Hot Stamp Operator, you'll be trained how to operate each machine utilized in production of insert chip technology secured cards. You will be responsible for the set up and operation of the machines and will program computer batches from an order ticket to load data. In this role you will perform quality checks, confirm quantity produced, and ensure the batch is correct per the job ticket.   • The candidate must have a strong background in controls (PLC) and electrical troubleshooting, mechanical processes, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • A basic understanding of bulk material transport equipment to include loaders, hoppers, and vacuum system is desired.

We are currently seeking M&P Engineer individuals with a focus in evaluation/processing of composites and adhesive secondary bonding of composites. Also must have ground floor experience and creating methods from scratch.

Seeking a first rate aircraft materials and processes engineer with experience in composite materials, testing, out-of-autoclave processing, as well as bonded assemblies. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in media production, communications, journalism, mechanical design, or equivalent experience or training in engineering, sales or technical service is required, plus five years technical writing experience.  Mechanical aptitude with an extensive working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, video equipment and photography essential.  Position requires extensive technical writing background with good writing skills.  Must understand and read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.  Must be proficient in related publishing software.

What You’ll Do:

Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operate related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Perform calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.
Work closely with other technicians and engineers in executing tasks that could include cable harness assembly, sub-assembly & box level assembly / test, thermal testing, fiber optic splicing, and other similar assembly and test tasks both in the R&D labs and on the pilot production line.
Support the upkeep of the labs including ordering consumable supplies, tracking calibrated equipment, and other similar tasks.
What You’ll Need:

Basic Qualifications:
Experience in wire harness build and routing. Mechanical assembly history and familiarity with electrical systems and circuit boards.
Attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, good organizational skills, computer literacy, and a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to read blue prints, schematics, and drawings and following verbal and written instructions. Experience reading work instructions and performing tasks as per instructions.
Electronic Testing Experience
Desired skills:
Educational background and/or experience in electronics or optics.
Experience running, testing, and measuring lasers or complex optical systems.
Exceptional lab skills: ability to prototype, test, and debug electronics
Experience in handling fiber, fiber splicing equipment including fiber polishing equipment.
Experience in testing analog, power electronics, RF, and digital circuits.
IPC Solder Certification Desired
