Description:
An Advanced Engineering Technician job in Scottsdale, AZ is currently available through Belcan with one of our premiere defense industry clients. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Advanced Engineering Technician Job duties:

* Performs a variety of equipment/process operations involving an application or technical skills in a specific area (electrical, software, manufacturing, etc.).
* Interprets basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics.
* Constructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts a variety of tools, equipment and systems.

• Lay up, bagging, and curing of composite and metal bonded panels; including setting running an autoclave.

• Setting up and performing mechanical tests on various test coupon configurations; mechanical testing to include both static and fatigue tests, with and without strain gauges or extensometers, over wide range of temperatures.

• Lead mini projects (Test Requests) through all stages to completion; interfacing with the customer when needed.

Education:
Associates Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Materials Science, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering or FAA A & P Certification.

You'll Need:
• Have a mechanical aptitude
• Technical knowledge of the application of adhesives, sealants, primers and composites.

Field Service Representatives

Description:
STS Technical Services is hiring Field Service Representatives at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina to join the largest military vehicle upgrade project in US history, the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV).

Overall, FSR will provide full classroom instruction (FLMNET/OPNET) to soldiers on ; powertrain, cooling, electrical charging, suspension, heating and ventilation, steering and system integration support of ancillary equipment. The FSR will also help to provide orientation to key personnel with respect to operations, maintenance, repair and parts supply as well as support efforts for equipment retrofits at Camp Pendleton.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide classroom based instruction and maintenance based instruction to support to military customer.

Ability to diagnose, repair, and service defense light wheeled vehicles.
Coordinate with customers and fellow employees to get service and parts expedited to the customer’s satisfaction.
Anticipate and manage customer needs and develop and implement curriculum updates or maintenance operations.
Recommend and provide instruction to operators and maintainers on the correct operations and maintenance procedures
Execute defense, domestic and international field service efforts.
Execute defense warranty administration process
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years mechanical experience in heavy/light wheeled vehicles/ 5-10 years preferred
Ability to obtain minimum – NACI level security clearance.
