Senior Electronics Assembler

Description:
Notes from Hiring Manager: Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Looking for candidates that specifically have 4 – 5 years of Cable & Harness Experience
* They should be familiar with crimpers / military connectors, solder sleeves, and daisy chains
* RF Cable Experience and Commercial experience/HVAC/PC Boards/Etc. are not relevant

Summary:

Looking for a Senior Electronics Assemblers to perform complex assembly of harnesses, cables and electronic parts and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:

> Sets up and fabricates complex electronic assemblies utilizing various forms of written and oral instructions, automatic and semi-automatic machines and hand tools.
> Specific duties vary by workload and cover a range of assembly techniques including very complex harness and cable fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly.
> Performs administrative tasks associated with assembly operations which include Manufacturing Order documentation, production problem transmittal generation, and shelf life maintenance.
> Resolves complex manufacturing problems.
> Maintains good housekeeping, safety standards, and calibration requirements.
> Sets up production equipment.
> Practices Total Quality principles and concepts.

Qualifications:

> 4+ years extensive experience specialized in building harnesses, cables & electronic assembly techniques.
> Military and commercial quality specifications.
> Planning, leadership, and organization skills.
> Ability to read and interpret complex instructions, procedures, and engineering drawings/specifications.
> Ability to apply cost/quality control methods & set up/operate all fabrication equipment in area assigned.
> Ability to concentrate while discriminating colors & small details.
> Excellent math skills, hand / eye coordination and finger / hand dexterity.
> Electrostatic discharge procedures and methods.
> Ability to work independently, as well as working well with others.
> High School diploma, or equivalent education (GED)with the ability to successfully perform the job duties.
