Description:
Embedded Software Engineer - Level 2

Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Pay Rate: DOE ($65/hr - $80.73/hr)
Duration: 1 year contract
Shift: First, 9/80
Travel: Yes, to customer locations as required
** MUST have an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE **

Description
-Designs, develops, operates, and maintains software and firmware components and computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements.
-Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as laboratory simulation systems, airplane flight control and display systems, avionics, mechanical and electrical systems, weapons armament, commercial and military aircraft systems, mobile and ground-based defense systems, space systems, and other systems and applications of this nature.
-Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.
-Must have Secret clearance.

Skill/Experience/Education (Mandatory):
-DOD Secret Clearance Required (Must have active/transferable Secret Clearance) (4-5 Years experience)
-BS in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Related Field (4-5 Years experience)
-C/C++ (4-5 Years experience)
-COTS SBC (0-3 Years experience)
-Linux (Red Hat) (4-5 Years experience)
-VxWorks (4-5 Years experience)
-Git (4-5 Years experience)
-J1939 or CANBus experience (4-5 Years experience)
-Eclipse (4-5 Years experience)
-Embedded SW Engineering (4-5 Years experience)
-Ground Vehicles and Autonomy Experience (4-5 Years experience)

Desired:
