Systems Engineer - Direct Hire

Description:
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Baltimore, MD surrounding area.

This role involves supporting systems engineering management activities for development programs. It requires working with engineering team leaders, subject-matter experts, and customers to derive, document, and manage the deliverable requirements and interface documents.

Responsibilities:
Derive and allocate aircraft and/or propulsion requirements and specifications from customers to supplier requirements at the system, sub-system, component, and vendor levels
Develop requirements in collaboration with the customer, subject-matter experts, and project managers
Establish traceability to customer requirements and specifications
Validate all levels of supplier requirements against customer requirements
Work with technical team leads and customers to define internal and external interfaces of the system and develop Interface Control Documents
Generate and refine the requirements and interface documents for customer acceptance
Identify impacts from customer requirement changes
Manage interface and requirements documents

Basic Hiring Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

Desired Qualifications:
Strong analytical and technical report-writing skills
Ability to pay attention to details and thoroughness with documentation
Ability to work with Integrated Product Teams and interact with the customer
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience in requirements development/management processes or proficiency in tools like Jama or DOORS
Experience in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering is preferred
