Aircraft Subsystem Design Engineers - Melbourne, FL

Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Aircraft Subsystem Design Engineers for open positions in Melbourne, Florida.

Job Duties:

• The selected candidate will perform design on mechanical and electrical subsystems including ECS, Fuel, Hydraulics, Fire Protection, Mechanisms, Secondary Power, Electro-mechanical Harness Design and Routing
• Develop solutions to difficult problems that are thorough, imaginative, practical, and consistent with program objectives
• Coordination and clear communication with other disciplines during the development of design solutions
• Concise presentation and explanation of design issues/solutions to internal management and customer representatives
• Evaluation of engineering products for conformity to standards, procedures, and specifications
• Preparation of detail design packages, peer review design solutions for accuracy, clarity, and completeness

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 9 years’ of Aircraft Subsystem Design Experience
• Minimum of a BS in mechanical, aerospace or electrical engineering
• Willingness to relocate or take a domestic assignment to Melbourne, Florida
• Level 4: 9 Years’ with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years’ with Masters; 4 Years’ with PhD
• Level 5: 14 Years’ with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years’ with Masters; 9 Years’ with PhD
• All positions require an active DoD Secret clearance
