Technical Writers - Avionics *HOT**

Description:
Qualifications should include:
• Experience writing technical manuals for military and commercial/private sector. Experience in Creation & Updating of Maintenance Manual is must
• Requires an understanding of engineering data, with a strong ability to research and analyze engineering drawings, configuration changes by Aircraft Serial number, compatibility with options, and product families
• Experience in Creation & Updating of Maintenance Manual is must
• Experience in XML/SGML markup, desktop publishing (Arbortext, Adobe, etc.), Framemaker experience a plus
• Technical Writing, Engineering Drawing/Parts List, Functional Test/Rigging Spec interpretation.
• Must have Avionics experience with Boxes, software and sensors.

Education:
• Mechanical or Technical Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, with some Aircraft related experience, with demonstrated aircraft and/or mechanical aptitude with a minimum of 10+ year’s aircraft maintenance experience.
• A&P License added advantage.
