Systems Engineer

Description:
Supports, performs and manages development, design, integration and test function and project teams of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost. Define, develop and document specifications, and qualify integrated system solutions for military and/or commercial aircraft. Participate in technical reviews of military and/or commercial avionics systems.

Desirable:
• Familiarity with DO-178 Software Certification and/or DO-254 Electronics Hardware Certification.

• Working knowledge of EVMS / Control Account Management.
• WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, VISIO, DOORS.
