CNC Programmer

Description:
We are recruiting for a motivated CNC Programmer for this Aerospace Company to set-up, and operate manual and CNC machines to produce tight tolerance components and tooling while reducing run times.

The ideal candidates must be motivated in the programming and setup of CNC machines in a high-mix, low-volume environment requiring quick turnaround manufacturing runs and on-the-job problem solving to ensure machine spindles are operating most of the shift.

Successful candidates will bring a broad array of skills to help grow the company and the position itself.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Model Parts in Solidworks
Program Parts in Mastercam
Defines Manufacturing Plans
Designs Tooling
Generates Set-Up Sheets
1st Run Set-Up and Part Part Validation
Assistance with First Article Inspections
Reports to the General Manager (Dotted-line to Sr. Programmer or Manufacturing Manager)
Completes Projects Accurately by Deadline
Understands the Material properties of hard and soft alloys

REQUIREMENTS
Min. 3 Years Experience with CAD (Solidworks) and CAM (Mastercam)
High Print to Part Aptitude (in understanding the complete manufacturing process, from Programming to Final Part Inspection)
Min. 3 Years Experience Operating Multi-Axis CNC and Manual Mills (Horizontal Preferred)
Productive, Turns New Programs Quickly
Fast and Efficient in Demanding Customer Environment
Ability to lift over 25 lbs
Excellent mechanical skills and aptitude
Positive, Collaborative, Industrious
Expert in Speed/Feed/Material Properties
