The Propulsion System Controls Engineer will be responsible for the design, integration and qualification of a full authority digital engine control systems meeting program and customer requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

• The Propulsion System Controls Engineer will be responsible for:
• Providing technical direction for propulsion system suppliers
• Developing system requirements, architectures, interfaces, performance specifications, plans/procedures, and schematics
• Supporting component, systems integration lab and flight test activities
• Coordinating with other integrated product teams, such as Integrated Vehicle Health Management, Avionics and Flight Controls, to define system interfaces and capabilities

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering Degree is required. Major in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering is preferred.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required
• Experience integrating engine control systems with aircraft avionics and flight control systems
• Must be a proven self-starter requiring minimal supervision, with excellent written and oral communication skills, and PC skills.
• Experience with supplier management is preferred
• Experience mentoring engineers is preferred

Familiarity with the following is preferred:

• System engineering and configuration management processes. Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and SysML preferred
• Experience with the product development phase
• Cyber security applied to airborne systems
• System Architectures, such as Modular Open System Architecture, Open Architecture and Integrated Modular Avionics

You Will:

Aerospace Rotorcraft Flight Controls Engineer

You Will:
Flight Controls engineer is a multi-skilled technical person capable of providing expertise in conceptual design, development, integration, and verification and test algorithms for the Advanced Helicopter. This position will employ the skills above to assist in progressing overall Flight Controls system conceptual design readiness for a proposal response of the Advanced Helicopter program of record. The position requires coordination across system and program boundaries as the Flight Controls IPT representative to ensure alignment of air vehicle systems. This position will also develop Flight Control Systems content for the Advanced Helicopter program of record proposal related to all aspects of Flight Control Systems development, specifically hardware, software, control strategy, and verification, as well as, manage and provide status updates on the development, schedule, and risk associated with Flight Control System content readiness.

You’ll Need:

• At least 8 years of relevant Flight Control Systems experience with a focus in any of the following: hardware, software, systems integration, or control laws.
• Previous proposal experience is preferred
• Must be a proven self-starter requiring minimal supervision, with excellent written and oral communication skills, and PC skills.
• RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, RTCA DO-178, RTCA DO-254, SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP4761, 14 CFR Part 27 and Part 29 for commercial and military qualification and certification of aircraft systems, and multiple data protocols
• Experience with Enovia, DOORS, and Serena Dimensions
• Development of system requirements, architectures, and schematics.
• Experience with current industry software languages and practices
• This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required. Major in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering or Computer Science is preferred. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.

Years of Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in aerospace industry is required. Experience in Helicopter flight controls is preferred.

Position Summary:

Performs structural repairs and fabrication of parts.  Ability to perform repairs per aircraft SRM and/or engineering dispositions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Follows approved repair/modification procedures for component or aircraft, consulting internal procedures that have been FAA approved, original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) technical data, and work package instructions.
Positions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points
Inspects completed work to identify any needed rework before signing off; ensures that repaired components meet prescribed standards and tolerances.
Performs serviceability tests on repairs using test equipment specified in technical manuals.
Completes work package documentation by signing/stamping off after finishing all designated operations.

Cuts, trims, and files parts, and verifies fitting tolerances to prepare for installation.
Drills holes in structure and subassemblies, and attaches brackets, hinges, or clips to secure installation or to fasten subassemblies.
Inspects and tests installed units, parts, and equipment for fit, performance, and compliance with standards, using measuring instruments and test equipment.
Positions and aligns subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments, following blueprint lines and index points.
Able to identify bolts, screws, rivets and various fasteners used to support or assemble components.
Installs units, parts, equipment, and components in structural assembly, according to blueprints and specifications, using hand tools and power tools.
Locates and marks reference points and holes for installation of parts and components, using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments.
Provide information and documentation for engineering requests.
Comply with repair station procedures (RSM /QCM) and company policies (SOP) when performing aircraft or component maintenance.
Qualifications:

Job Description:

Performs avionics and electrical systems maintenance according to FCC, FAA and Company Policies and Regulations. Troubleshoots, tests, repairs and installs avionics components such as aircraft communication, navigation, radar and electronic instrument systems. Operates and maintains test equipment and trade associated tools.

Description:
A Crash Analysis Engineer opportunity is available to develop Full Scale Crashworthiness Model for the Bell FARA program. Applicants will have the opportunity to influence full system level design based upon their analytical guidance.
The Crash Analysis Engineer is responsible for creation and modification of a detailed non-linear impact & crash dynamics finite element model for FARA aircraft and perform evaluative simulations to guide design.

Position Responsibilities:

• Import complex 3-D solid models from CATIA V4/5/6 platform.
• Perform necessary geometry clean-up and create adequate finite element mesh using Altair Hypermesh and/or other software, for non-linear high-speed impact simulations.
• Perform nonlinear material characterization (impacting object and impacted surface) to capture pre- & post damage behavior using LS DYNA software.
• Develop full aircraft level non-linear crashworthiness model for various landing and crash impact simulations using LS DYNA software.

Embedded S/W Engineer – 429 Program:
The 429 Embedded Software Engineer works in Ft. Worth, TX and will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
• Design and test of Flight Control System (FCS) and Avionics System with embedded DO-178 software and complex hardware, including DO-254.
• System and software design, requirements management, systems specifications, interface management, system safety assessment, verification and validation testing, and documentation for system and software requirements in a laboratory or desktop simulation environment, aircraft flight test, and aircraft/system qualification and certification.
• Perform formal software development through design for requirements and requirements verification with C/C++ code and MathWorks toolsets
• Develop and update requirements and verification traceability
• Conduct software integration and testing on target hardware

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Structures Analyst to join our team.
