Description:
General Summary:
The Avionics System Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of the assigned avionics systems for the aircraft.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform systems level integration activities for aircraft avionic systems including: Control and Display Systems; Navigations Systems; Communication Systems; Surveillance Systems; and Cabin Management Systems
• DO-160F/G, DO-178B and DO-254 experience required.

  • Client is seeking an individual with specialized skills in digital design tools with a firm background in computer operating systems and processes necessary to develop Client and unique digital circuit blocks and apply advanced algorithms in next generation silicon processes.

Function:
The functional expertise required for this contract Engineering Position is primarily in the field of electrical/electronics/software Engineering with significant experience required in building LABVIEW based test jigs and automated test systems.

2. Update existing Labview software for issues observed with existing products. Going through each communication command-response and adding missing parameters if any. (3 weeks)

3. Fix the issue of Excel specification spreadsheet from multiple users. Also bring the specification spreadsheet under engineering control environment in vault. ( few hrs)

4. Add drop-down customer list. Add feature to retrieve settings from customer specific EXCEL spreadsheets in vault and program the unit under test. (1 week)

5. Add new parameters to report. Most of them are already measured and needed to add to report. (few hrs)

6. Update existing Labview software to include newer products. Same communication protocol but extended command/responses. (8 weeks)

7. Convert existing Labview software for MPT to perform automatic Design validation test. More in detail then software generated after STEP 6 (4 weeks)

8. Convert existing Labview software for automatic board testing at board house. (6 weeks)

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and at least 3 years of relevant work experience

• Excellent organizational, project management, troubleshooting & technical problem solving skills
• Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing environment
• Able to travel to customer sites, as required, to support sales and account management efforts

Client is seeking a research program manager to lead efforts in the planning, organizing, completion, and presentation of assessments in support of Air Force Research Laboratory trusted microelectronics projects. STS Technical Services is hiring Traveling Field Service Representatives to join the largest military vehicle upgrade project in US history, the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle- JLTV!

You will be trained in Oshkosh, WI and then be deployed to several site locations all over the United States and abroad.

Overall, C4I personnel will integrate: turret drive systems, DVE, DAGR, LRAS, VSWR Antenna, KVG-72, VRC 104 – 114, VRC-9x, VIC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide field support to military customers within assigned regions

Hardware and software hands-on subject matter expertise in the areas of GFE and OSK CFE systems that include weapons, shelters, and C4ISR/EW (incl. COMSEC, sensors, JBC-P software, GFE firmware/configuration)
Installation, de-installation, configuration, operation, and verification of GFE and OSK CFE systems to demonstrate operational readiness (IAW the JPO prove-out process)
Independently perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues of JLTV CFE and GFE OSK installation kits
Provide specialized tools necessary to perform the duties (OSK laptops with full CAD data (incl. wiring diagrams), antenna VSWR meter, amplifier power meter, and cable analyzer)
Operate JPO provided hard drive duplicator to perform CSDU HD cloning
Provide status updates to Government site lead as directed
Document and track vehicle (incl. CFE and GFE kit) status and issues

Qualifications:

CompTIA Sec+ certification (Mandatory)
Army MOS 25U or other service branch equivalent (covers all radio experience and training)
