Dynamic Loads Engineer

Location: Savannah, GA
Rate: $70.00 - $77.00/HR
Long Term contract


Unique Skills:
Candidate shall not be a foreign national and must be legally qualified to work on an ITAR project.

As an Engineering Contractor in Dynamic Loads, you will:
• Analyze aircraft structural dynamic response and load distributions for gust, landing and taxi conditions.
• Provide solutions for aircraft vibration problems

What you'll bring to the team:
• Knowledge of aircraft aeroelasticity principles and concepts
• Good general knowledge of FAR/EASA Part 25 requirements
• Experience in structural dynamics modeling
• Experience with MSC Nastran and Patran or a comparable application
• Experience with Gust Loads Analysis in MSC Nastran
• Experience with dynamic analyses such as engine fan blade out or aircraft crash landing is a plus

• Contributing to the certification of world class business jet aircraft

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a related curriculum, or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. See Other Requirements in Job Description. 5 yrs in the specific technical discipline or 10 yrs broad engineering experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors, or 3 yrs in the specific technical discipline with Masters, or 1 yr in the specific technical discipline with PhD.
