Embedded Software Engineer - Level 3

Description:
Embedded Software Engineer Sr

Location: Moorestown, NJ
Pay Rate: DOE ($63/hr - $85/hr)
Duration: 1 year W2 contract
Shift: First, 9/80, exempt OT
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN**
**MUST have an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE**

Description
-The candidate will perform the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing real-time embedded signal processing firmware/software applications.
-This engineer will be responsible for performing software/firmware development assignments from requirements through final testing.
-This engineer will work with domain experts and military documentation to define software requirements, use cases, and sequence diagrams.
-This candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing system components using Object Oriented methods in C++.
-This candidate should have an academic background and experience in: digital signal processing implementation, C/C++ programming, and simulation tools such as MATLAB.
-Real-time embedded software development including: Design, Code, and Test effort associated with development and maintenance of Computer Program Change Requests (CPCRs).
-Software analysis and design, including the creation and maintenance of the analysis and design models representing static relationships, dynamic behavior, boundaries and interfaces, supporting the architecture models developed during the software preliminary design activity.
-Perform unit and integration tests of the software by planning and conducting tests, analyzing the results, and documenting and resolving test defects of the developed software.
-Perform design and code reviews of the developed software, provide CPCR fixes for both Development and Maintenance CPCRs.
-Provide support for Signal Processor Trouble Observation Report (TOR) evaluation and adjudication. Update and support delivery of the Software Design Description document (SDD).

Skill/Experience/Education (Mandatory):
-BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering.
-Minimum of 8 years of professional level experience.
-Experience in digital signal processing real-time software applications using C++ Object Oriented design and programming.
-Configuration management and change management experience using ClearCase, ClearQuest and UCM.

Desired:
-Simulation tools experience such as Matlab.
