Structural Design Engineers

Description:
Skill set:
Must have Primary and secondary structural design experience. Light aircraft (FAR 23) is preferred.

Excellent detail design skills, along with a combination of composites and metal part and assembly design background. Must have CATIA V5 and CPD experience (composite part design workbench in CATIA).

Position Responsibilities
Under the direction of project design engineering, serve as a member of a design team providing structural detail design for commercial light/general aviation aircraft. The main product line will require design-to-build activities for a commercial (Far 23) aircraft composed of primary/secondary metallic structure (some composite).

Minimum Requirements
· US Citizen, Green Card Holder or Permanent Residence Status
· A degreed candidate is highly desired
· 10 years of experience in Aerospace design is a minimum
· CATIA v5 (R25/R26 preferred)
· Entirely 3D CAD Design using Model Based Definition (MBD)
· Experience with ENOVIA\SmarTeam
· Experience with FAR 23 aircraft is preferred
