Mechanical Design Engineer

Description:
'Must be able to acquire DoD Secret clearance, but can start without clearance or with Interim Secret clearance.”

Selected candidate will perform conceptual, detail structural design, analysis, testing and producibility of system components. Candidate must be proficient in the use of Catia AND Creo large model assemblies, have excellent verbal, presentation and written skills and be able to work with a diverse team of internal and external customers/suppliers. The candidate will be required to work closely with Production Operations to develop producible solutions.

10 years of equivalent experience, and 6-8 years of Computer Aided Design software experience using PRO Engineer (PTC CREO2 or 3) and/or CATIA V.5. Candidate must be capable of creating and interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings, and have knowledge of the concept of tolerance analysis and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
