Instrumentation Technician/Engineer

Description:
1st and 2nd shift available

Job Description
• Work from Engineering Requests, Procedures and Drawings with limited guidance; to Fabricate, Install, Check-out, Diagnose, and Trouble-Shoot Instrumentation Data Acquisition Systems/Sensors in support of Ground and Flight Test Programs.
• Requires planning, building and terminating the various cable harnesses required in the Instrumentation System.
• Assist in performing System and sensor calibrations.
• Working environment consist of the Structural Test Lab, Remote Test Stands ( Engineering & Quality Assurance ) as well as Offsite support to include Aircraft Instrumentation .
• Requires a good working knowledge of Instrumentation Sensors, slip rings, and data acquisition systems.
• Must possess a strong Mechanical and Electrical background and familiarity with Strain Gages and their circuitry, linear displacement and vibration transducers, measurement systems, instrumentation wiring and documentation.
• Ability to perform strain gage installations preferred.
• Must be able to work from elevated work platforms at various heights.
• Must be willing and able to work in inclement weather.
• Must be capable and comfortable working within a diverse team environment.
