Aircraft Engine Mechanics

Description:
STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Engine Mechanics in Oscoda, Michigan.

Overview:

A&P’s performing aircraft engine maintenance, teardown and overhaul on mostly commercial and regional aviation engines. Kalitta’s own fleet consists of 747s, 767s and 777s. Engines include CFM-56, CF6, JT9 and PW4000.

Job Duties & Requirements:
Replaces or repairs worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
Tests engine operation, using test equipment such as ignition analyzer, compression checker, distributor timer, and ammeter, to identify malfunction.
Listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burned valves.
Reassembles engine and installs engine in aircraft.
Disassembles and inspects engine parts, such as turbine blades and cylinders, for wear, warping, cracks, and leaks.
Removes engine from aircraft, using hoist or forklift truck.
Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.
An A&P mechanic must know and follow all regulations set by the FAA
Mechanics do not need to be current or have an A&P, but they must have experience if they do not have a valid A&P.

Description:
A Consulting Civil Engineer role located in Denver, CO is currently available through Belcan. The Civil Engineer will be responsibility for providing professional engineering review, bid/project qualification and project management services for all client projects within the Denver Office geographic territory.

Civil Engineer duties:
* Provide all necessary engineering assistance which includes reviewing applicant's preliminary

administrative services.

within the approved project scope of work. Ensure that client is adequately safeguarded. Ensure
that the cost estimates are commensurate with the service provided. Ensure for compliance with
client requirements, approved project scope, local, state, Federal codes and statutes.
* Monitors recipients compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and requirements which are
pre‐requisites to solicitation of construction bids.
* May attend bid openings to observe bidding procedures. Prepares or reviews reports of results
including tabulation of bids, irregularities noted, and any anticipated or potential problems.
* Make appropriate findings and recommendations relative to recipients requests for project
amendments. This can include additional assistance request. Prepares necessary documents for

* Reviews and make recommendations to approve recipient's construction contract award

* Conduct pre‐construction conferences with the recipient, the architect/ engineer, and the
construction contractors. Conference must outline the duties of all participants during the
construction and warranty period.
* Conducts on‐site inspections of projects under construction. Inspections must ensure that the
work is being done in accordance with approved plans and specifications. The quality of
workmanship conforms to acceptable standards of the industry. Prepares reports of findings to
include recommendations for corrective actions where necessary.
* Evaluates recipients requests for change orders to determine whether the proposed change is
legitimate, and does not come as a result of an error in design or construction methods. Ensure
that change orders do not alter the scope of the project. Ensure that the cost of change orders is
reasonable. Make a recommendation if client should participate in the cost of the change.
* Monitor the financial position of assigned projects. Conduct field audits of recipients' records to
ensure the proper accounts have been established. Ensure that matching funds are available.
Ensure that only approved costs have been paid from project accounts, and that fund balances
are correct. Evaluate construction progress payments, and other project related invoices. Assists
recipients in preparing reimbursement requests. Make recommendations concerning
disbursements of grant funds.
* Conduct periodic site visits and final inspection to ensure that the project is complete and
function. May require overnight travel during construction and project completions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* BS/BA or higher in Civil Engineer, Engineer, Architect, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
study.
* Successful completion of a degree in engineering that (1) has at least one program accredited by
ABET or (2) that included differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced that

Description:
A Engineering Technician III - Solar Array Assembly job in Louisville, CO, is currently available through Belcan. You will have a high degree of both technical competencies, written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working in groups or independently in order to develop prototypes and collaborate with engineers, troubleshoot, document and put explicit plans into action on Space Flight assemblies, ground support equipment and test configurations. STS Technical Services is hiring 25 Traveling Field Service Representatives to join the largest military vehicle upgrade project in U.S. history, the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle -- JLTV!  This is a 100% travel opportunity where the Traveling Field Service Representative (TFSR) will work at 6-10 fielding-site locations throughout the United States, and abroad, on an annual basis.

More Information:

Overall, the Traveling Field Service Representative will troubleshoot vehicle systems to include; powertrain, cooling, electrical charging, suspension, heating and ventilation, steering and system integration support of ancillary equipment. The TFSR will also help to provide orientation and instruction to key personnel with respect to operations, maintenance, repair and parts supply as well as support efforts for equipment retrofits at military bases all over the country.

Responsibilities:
Provide mechanic based field support to military customers within assigned regions

Mandatory Qualifications:
