Systems Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
2. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
3. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
4. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM-related degree.
2. Experience with Systems Engineering processes.
3. Experience working with customers and/or vendors/suppliers.
4. Experience leading a project or team.

Desired Skills:
1. Computer architecture experience on military platforms.
2. Hardware Networking experience.
3. Familiar with industry hardware and software protocols.
4. Program development experience.
5. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
6. Operational or developmental aircraft experience.
7. Experience working across multiple sites.
8. Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics.
9. Strong decision making and judgment.
10. Independent and self-motivated.
11. Oral and written communication skills.
12. Basic financial and business acumen.
13. Demonstrated experience and ability to deliver and other functional disciplines/organizations.
14. Ability to travel.
