Mechanical Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last two (2) years with an investigation within the last 5 years****

Job Description:
1. Lead of the subsystems IPT for a new vehicle design.
2. Design, analysis, and integration of various subsystem architecture such as; fuel, ECS, actuation systems, and electrical power for a new aircraft design.
2. Interface with other disciplines and stakeholders to determine interfaces and systems requirements.
3. Experience with design, analysis, integration and development of multiple aircraft systems.
4. Individual must be able to oversee multiple systems and their design teams and maintain the overall vehicle systems architectures based on the aircraft mission requirements.
5. Experience with the development of performance specification and statement of work (SOW) for vendor selection process.
6. Interface with various suppliers for selection of candidate subsystem hardware.
7. Integrate candidate subsystem hardware with the aircraft.

Job Qualifications:
1. Level 4: BS+16 YRS or MS+14 YR
2. Experience with the design and integration of subsystems architectures
3. Experience leading subsystems design activities
4. Experience with multiple subsystems architectures
5. Experience generating subsystem layouts and designs.
6. Experience leading small teams.
7. Self motivated and ability to work in a fast paced aircraft design environment.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
