Catia V Design Engineer

Description:
*This is a 1 year contract position, on site only position, located in Orlando*



We are seeking a Mechanical Designer who has experience in mechanical design with a background in military applications (including including Safety of Flight /SOF) and standards.



Daily duties will include verifying engineering drawings and related documents for soundness, efficiency, and simplicity in design; completeness, clarity, and dimensional accuracy; correctness of materials and processes; conformity to design/drafting standards, design specifications, and practicability; and economy of fabrication, assembly, and installation.



Required:

*10 years’ experience in designing using Catia V

*Experience with ASME Y14.5M-1994; GD&T (Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

*Active Secret or Interim to start; US Citizens Only Please

*Intralink PDM experience

*Engineering degree



Pluses:

*Knowledge ASME Y14.24M engineering drawings and general drafting practices of IAW ASME Y14.100.

*Familiar with MIL-T-3100 and MIL-STD 100
