Quality Technician- Welding

Description:
A Quality Technician- Welding job is currently available at Belcan in Wilson, NC. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have experience working in a manufacturing setting. You will be supporting a Materials & Manufacturing Engineering department, focusing on weld certification & evaluations for a large aerospace manufacturer.

Quality Technician job duties:
* Assist with the disposition of quality notification deviations, process variations, and failure analysis for welded parts & products
* Process samples for the certification of equipment & individuals
* Support failure investigations on part returns and in-process scrap
* Support material selections and material obsolescence investigations

Qualifications:
* High School diploma and 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting
* Experience working with quality notifications
* Great written and oral communication
* Legal authorization to work in the US is required

Desired but not required skills:
* Experience with sample cutting, mounting, polishing, etching, digital imaging and image analysis (Lab Work).
* Background in quality and/or manufacturing departments
* Previous work in the aerospace industry
* Knowledge of SAP
