RESPONSIBILITIES:

Description:
Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision and other structural and system components, working from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established processes and procedures. Functional test and correct, fit form and function of assemblies and components.

Duties:
The Company will provide appropriate assistance in job training to enable employees to perform all necessary job functions including the following:
1. Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, work orders, etc. to assemble and install to quality requirements parts and assemblies.
2. Complete required data gathering transactions to facilitate assembly progression.
3. Setup and perform all manual and automated assembly operations, and portable machine functions required to accomplish assignments.

Integral Fuel Cell - Apply sealing compounds to seal fuel cell and wing section components

Verifies dimensions of parts using both mechanical and electronic measurement tools and, relative to these inspection duties, initiate and document corrective action for programming issues and other problems.

Setup and operate conventional and Computerized Numerical Controlled (CNC) fastening equipment, similar to Multi-Task Gantry Riveter’s (MTGR’s), Brotje’s , C-Frames, IPAC’s etc., to assemble components in accordance with engineering specifications.

The Electronic Combat Solutions business area is seeking electrical engineering candidates interested in technical leadership roles on established programs. The IEWS Sustainment team is looking for a highly motivated Product / Process Engineer to support transition to production and sustainment activities on high complexity electronic products. This position will be for the hardware technical lead of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A. Supervise and provide direction to contract engineering techs, internal maintenance, and outside contract trades during all aspects of equipment installation and conversion such as demolition, construction, installation, testing, and debug of production equipment.

F. Create, review, and update installation documentation and drawings as required.
G. Direct initial equipment set-up and debug up to the point of turnover to operations.
H. Interface with all departments, as necessary, to ensure efficient use and operation of equipment.
I. Redline existing drawings and follow-up with drafting services or oversee draftsmen as required to resolve design issues.
J. Provide third-level troubleshooting support, directing contract engineering techs, and trades as necessary to replace defective components and execute changes in design solve equipment/process issues.

Project Tasks:
A. Provide troubleshooting support in assigned areas.
B. Take personal responsibility for all aspects of supervising equipment installation crews including direction and shift supervision as needed for Electricians and Mechanics during installation activities.
C. Provide training to contract engineering techs, internal maintenance, and outside contract trades on new equipment installation procedures as required for successful execution of installation activities.
D. Analyze and correct equipment installation practices to improve efficiencies, specifically directed toward enhancing installation schedules.
E. Develop cost reduction plans for the improvement of installation projects.
F. Provide sketches or marked-up drawings as dictated by project and evolutionary equipment needs.
G. Complete documentation packages to meet customer requirements.
H. Ensure updated documentation exists in assigned areas.

Education required:

Supply Chain Program Leader Sr

Description:
SUMMARY STATEMENT
Applies expert and specialized knowledge to plan, direct, and coordinate Supply Chain activities in concert with Engineering to support customer program requirements. Participates and leads executive level program reviews at customer sites and at Client site. Primary Supply Chain contact for customer program status for Client Supply Chain and Supplier actions in partnership with Engineering. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities: Develops solutions to complex and unusual problems that require considerable ingenuity and innovation to make substantial modification to policies and standards related to managing engineering projects in the areas of design or technology. Work is accomplished with only limited direction allowing considerable freedom to act.
Plans, directs and coordinates activities to ensure Client Supply Chain Management processes support customer requirements. Responsible to develop and coordinate executive level presentation of material to customers to support of customer program expectations and requests. Support and complete audits of Client Supply Chain Management processes and supplier processes to ensure compliance to customer requirements. Establishes project / program milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions such as allocation of resources or changing contract specifications and technical solutions. Coordinates and works with other functional organizations to resolve project / program issues. Works as Supply Chain Management liaison in understanding and communicating customer requirements, including customer audit preparations; discusses issues of project with customer, engineering and other personnel. Assigns personnel to specific Supply Chain aspects or phases of project. Prepares various project reports for management, customers and others, as needed. . Ancillary Functions and Responsibilities: Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than the primary assignment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Formal Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience: Bachelor level degree in Business or Engineering, Master level degree preferred and ten (10) or more years’ experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Aerospace industry experience required, Program management and OEM and work with Tier 1 Suppliers as Customer interface preferred. Experience may be substituted for the formal education and training requirements in this section at the discretion of management. Level of Supervision Required: Works under limited direction. Guidance as to objectives, critical issues and policy. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and methods.
