Structural Analysis Engineer

Description:

Job Description:
- Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.).
- Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgment on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained.
- Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyses the results.
- Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software and ANSYS.
- Familiarity and experience with other FEA tools such as NASTRAN, other pre/post processor software, as well as knowledge of MIL-HDBK-5 is also required.
- Candidate must have working knowledge/experience with Computer Aided Design software tool CATIA V5 (preferred) as well as PRO Engineer / Wildfire 4.
- Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.

Education:
- Level 3: BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS
