Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met

Duties include:

* Requirements analysis and decomposition (DOORS)
* Software Test Description (STD) Development
* Ada 95, C, C++, Python, Bash, Java, and other scripting language use may be required
* Use of secure coding principles
* Security+ Certification preferred

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor STEM degree
9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
5 years experience in Ada 95 software development 3 years experience in C++ software development
Experience in Requirements Analysis and decomposition (DOORs)
Use of secure coding principles

Preferred Qualifications:
Master STEM degree
Expert in Ada 95 software development
Expert in C++ software development
3+ years experience in Requirements Analysis
3+ years of using secure coding
Security + Certified
