Electronics Maintenance Technician I

Description:
This position is for an alternative work shift that works 4-10hr days Thursday-Sunday.

The ideal candidate for this position will perform the following tasks:
* Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools, and applicable test equipment.
* Fabricate harness and electrical assemblies.
* Reads and interprets manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to accomplish work.
* Work under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician.
* Work is checked frequently for accuracy.
* Experience in repairing, replacing, and rebuilding electrical system wiring, connectors, and components using hand tools, power tools and applicable test equipment.
* Experience in utilizing electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
* Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience installing and testing of aircraft electrical/avionics systems.
* Successful completion of a military or civilian equivalent electrical/avionics training course.
* Must be proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, engineering drawings and technical manuals/technical orders.
* Must have a Secret clearance.
* Able to work an alternative work shift of 4-10hr days Thursday-Sunday.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Documented Military/DOD Service School or Civilian/FAA equivalent training desired.
* Experience soldering.
* Experience with harness fabrication
