Plumbing CAD Coordinator

Description:
Looking for a Plumbing CAD Coordinator with 5+ years’ experience in both Plumbing/Fire Protection drafting and AutoCAD light design. Some experience in designing in Revit. To be successful, candidates must have excellent technical skills, be well versed in the newest version of AutoCAD, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

> Prepare plumbing coordination, sleeving, prefab and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
> Review contract drawings to assure completeness and code compliance
> Provide detailed plumbing design and layout, isometrics, enlarged plans, details and schedules
> Update plumbing general and plan notes as required
> Maintain plumbing schedules and product submittal/cut-sheets in relation to PM’s purchasing
> Provide installation crew material take-off documents
> Provide installation crew field support during installation process
> Field/site visitation and coordination meetings
> Active participation in every design project from creation to record drawing status
> Attend coordination meetings
> Identify added costs
> Identify questions and initiate RFIs
> Work with Project Management and Foreman
> Strong communication and organization skills

Requirements:

> Strong knowledge of plumbing and general knowledge of the structural, architectural, and mechanical/electrical trades
> 5+ years’ experience in Plumbing drafting and AutoCAD designing
> Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks
