CNC - Programming - Contract

Description:
Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Programming – Contract

Client needs candidates for the position of Manufacturing Engineer CNC Programmer. Must have experience with complex aerospace programming using Espirit.



Must be a US Person, Citizen or Green Card holder.
Supports production from a technical standpoint.

This is a contract position located in Rockford, IL with an expected duration of 18 months.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Supports technical solutions
• 5+ years’ CNC programming experience, including:
o Horizontal Machining Centers with 5th axis table or Multi- Axis Mill/Turn
o Experience programming in Esprit, Unigraphics, or DelCam
• Ability to select proper cutting tools for aluminum/stainless steel
• Knowledge of applicable work holding methods
• GD&T and Blueprint knowledge
• Must be able to emulate Clients system and proven way of processing
• Hands on machining experience
• Vericut experience
• WinTool experience
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to function as a team member
• Learns the steps involved to incorporate process improvements
• Supports the manufacturing floor for any process related questions
• Creates and maintains process documentation and updates work order documentation
• Supports implementation of basic engineering changes
• Adheres to applicable Quality System requirements
• Supports Process Flow Charts, PFMEA, and Control Plans
• Learns from more senior Operations Engineers. May guide/direct Manufacturing Specialists.
• General understanding of all applicable software





Education: Bachelor's degree in technical/science or math discipline preferred.
