Production Planners - Rome, NY

Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Production Planners for open positions in Rome, New York.

Job Summaries:

Report to the Production Manager and work in close collaboration with production supervisors, Quality, Purchasing, Finance and Customers to ensure everything is available to successfully complete work package in budget and quoted TAT.

Job Duties:

• Continuous monitoring of the hours on a daily basis, extract the daily production data and present reports for hours approval.
• Ensure personnel are charging to the accurate work orders, correct punching, provide training and support.
• Monitor and follow up on any hour issues for routine and non-routine tasks, working with aircraft Supervisor to ensure accurate accountability.
• Generating a standard reporting method of discrepancies for Production and Finance.
• Deal directly with the Customer’s Technical Representative “Tech Rep” on any issues related to their projects and ensure that the Production Manager is informed of any issues that affects aircraft schedules.
• Participate in various meetings on maintenance projects, take minutes and follow up with relevant departments and communicate information to the customers.
• Support the production, management and liaise with clients.
• Support the departments in pre-planning of projects in areas such as equipment, tooling etc.
• Establish and monitor production statistics and generate the information required for performance program including monitoring after delivery of the aircraft.
• Communicate with customers to gather information relevant to the preparation of quotations and planning work.
• Supervise the preparation of documentation for maintenance visits in collaboration with quality assurance, control the various official documents.
• Supporting departments by providing technical input to reports and presentations
• The duties and responsibilities of the job function may vary from time to time based on the workload in the facility.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Aircraft maintenance.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule according to company needs.
• Speak and write English fluently.
• Experience in a similar position is an asset.
• Advanced analytical and communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Advanced ability to negotiate and establish solutions with clients and internal supervisors.
• Advanced organization skills required for a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong Customer Focus.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple time sensitive initiatives simultaneously.
• Knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software.
