They will be onsite in Wichita, KS. Period of performance is ~5 months each assuming a start in the next few weeks. We can accommodate a wide variety of skills, but they will need to have some experience with Airbus doing electrical Wire Diagrams, Wire routing, and potentially some experience doing electrical based reports supporting certification. A Composite Design Engineer role located in Salt Lake City, Utah is currently available through Belcan. Liaison Engineer II (2nd Shift)

Description:
A Liaison Engineer II (2nd Shift) job in Louisville, CO is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring design requirements are met between production, planning, and supply chain, while maintaining schedule. Through a detailed understanding of the build processed, engineering change processes, design requirements and extensive collaboration with the internal team designing and managing installations, this team is a key stakeholder to ensure that the overall build achieves all objectives. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering and typically 3+ years of relevant experience.

Liaison Engineer II (2nd Shift) Job duties:

* Assess, disposition, analyze, justify, determine cause and relay improvements for build discrepancies, errors and other nonconformances.
* Develop and utilize knowledge of various engineering change options, determine and execute the appropriate change option that creates the shortest path and meets engineering requirements for each unique problem.
* Provide guidance to technicians, engineers, and quality assurance engineers related to drawing and spacecraft requirements by overseeing installations, providing interpretation, and information briefs on key topics.
* Contribute to development and execution of standard repairs, analysis methods, and acceptable defects to streamline defects processing through MRB.
* Document, prioritize, communicate, and track required engineering changes fed back to the spacecraft design organization for resolution.


Qualifications:

* Experience in design and build of primary and secondary composite structures.
* Experience in design and build of metallic structures and fittings.
* Proficient or familiar with hand calculation methods for structural analysis.
* Proficiency preferred in NX CAD, but experience is another CAD package is acceptable.

Pay Range: Up to $46/hr DOE

General Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer position is responsible for the efficient build of a high quality aircraft which includes but not limited to: configuration control, creation of planning, tooling (manufacturing aides), work sequencing and designing efficient build methods. Manufacturing Engineer job duties:

* Assist, edit, troubleshoot, and resolve needs within the manufacturing process, various APQP processes, package and relocation support, supply chain, CNC machines and programming, cutting tools, components and parts, unique parts, scrap, etc.
* Communicate and interact with shop floor personnel, quality/process teams, customer management team, material teams, purchasing teams and other engineers involved in the process.
* Mentoring additional team members on customer and industry standards

Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications:
* M.S or B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Automotive and Assembly, etc. or equivalent amount of work experience involving manufacturing engineering.
* 10+ years of relevant work experience as a manufacturing engineer.

Description:
A Tool Design Engineer role located in Salt Lake City, Utah is currently available through Belcan. The Tool Design Engineer will create production and development tooling for advanced composite structures and complex aerospace assemblies. You will work cooperatively with design and manufacturing engineering as well as operations to create and optimize the tool string for quality, cost and throughput. The tool engineer designs the tooling or communicates the tool requirements to suppliers through a Statement of Work and associated supporting data (e.g. CAD models, sketches, simulations, etc.). This engineer leads project tracking to ensure timely tooling design, fabrication, on-boarding and implementation.

Tool Design Engineer job duties:

* Designs development and production tooling for composite layup, ATL, RTM, machining and
assemblies using part design models/specifications and fabrication methods.
* Creates tool statements of work for outside suppliers using part models and tool specifications
including tool design recommendations.
* Works cooperatively and effectively with operations, design and manufacturing engineering,
project engineers, quality engineers and suppliers to optimize tools for ease of product
manufacturing, cost, and quality.
* Creates accurate 3D models, drawings and engineering data (BOM's, tool inspection packages,
preventative maintenance requirements) required to communicate designs to suppliers,
operations and the customer.
* Works with supply chain to procure tooling packages.
* Maintains traceability for all tooling activities or events related to tool procurement and
maintenance.
* Manages and dispositions tooling discrepancies, damage and tooling related production issues.
* Communicates and coordinates required approvals through the customer.
* Develops and implements tooling changes with the Integrated Product Team.
* Actively participates in initial production to prevent and/or solve any tooling issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

complex composite aerospace layup, ATL, RTM, machining and assemblies in an aerospace team

* GD&T for tooling.
