Description:
Serves as an information systems security professional/system administrator applying knowledge of information security services analysis concepts, practices and procedures and executes security procedures for classified computer systems based on the Department of Defense (DoD), and other U.S. Government agency security requirements. Execute local policies, processes, and procedures to comply with all National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and DSS Assessments and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) requirements. Performs physical security functions as needed (employee badging, access control programming and maintenance, intrusion alarm).

Knowledge of information systems security components and best practices including; firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, data encryption, and other industry-standard techniques and practices. Windows Server experience required; Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related utilities and hardware, server hardware and switches, storage management and TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools; Experience with VMware preferred. Current secret security clearance or eligibility. If not, agency will be required to submit the candidate for a security clearance.
