Senior Advanced Mechanical Engineer

Description:
PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer in Glendale, AZ.

Summary:
Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components and equipment. Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as avionics, sensors, instruments, controls, etc.
Qualifications - External
Qualifications / Skills:
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 5-7 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Needs strong thermal and structural FEA experience in Siemens NX and/or Ansys Workbench.
Familiar with a variety of mechanical engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated design and analysis.
Desired experience includes: CREO, NX/NXi, Ansys, Matlab, GD&T, thermal and structural design and analysis, Finite Element Analysis and Modeling, electronics packaging, cable design, assembly sealing
. May report to an executive or a manager.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
US Citizenship is required.
