Role Description:



We are searching for a passionate and dedicated individual for a Flight Test Team Manager position located here in Moses Lake, WA. The Flight Test Team Manager will be assigned with an Aircraft and be responsible for Flight Test Vehicle (FTV) Work Scope, Performance, Execution and Scheduling of the assigned aircraft. Flight Test Team Manager will be responsible for managing initiation, planning, and execution of flight tests and ensuring to completion of the flight test within the given schedule.

The Flight Test Team Manager’s responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

Assign work, goals to the FTV team members.
Ensure Test Readiness, Deliverables are on track.
No injuries or accidents.
Ensure short and long term program schedules are accurate (updated by flight operation group and Maintenance).
Update and present short term schedule (90 days) to Functional Leads weekly.
Manage the entire FTV schedule through certification.
Provide daily and weekly FTV status.
Ensure support for short term schedule activities via Functional Leads.
Resolve issues with Functional Leads.
Flight Test Managers have authority for the following:

Setting aircraft configuration, schedule, testing and maintenance goals.
Implementing process improvements directly related to their FTV.
