Aircraft Interior/LOPA Design Engineer - Remote

Description:
Location: Remote
Model: Part-time
Position type: Consultant
The LOPA (Layout of Passenger Accommodations) Design Engineer expected to provide expert advice and design services on a project basis for the interior layout of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and design the Layout of Passenger Accommodations (LOPA) for various aircraft models.
Collaborate with engineering teams, interior designers, and clients to create optimized cabin layouts.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (FAA, EASA, etc.).
Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for cabin layout modifications.
Use CAD software to create detailed design drawings and 3D models.
Provide technical support and expertise during the certification process.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft interior design or related areas.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and standards (FAA, EASA).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
