Location: North Liberty, IA

Description:
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a field of study in Engineering.
- 8+ years of engineering experience.
- 3+ years of demonstrated technical leadership capability on embedded software/hardware integration projects
- Experience with requirements and agile project management tools required
- Experience in vehicle electrical systems, GPS-based guidance systems, telematics and/or in-field communications systems, including ISO11783-based CAN networks, Ethernet, Wi-Fi , etc. is a plus

Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating and leading the integration, software and electronic hardware requirements capture, and requirements-based testing of precision farming row crop planter control systems.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify and capture stakeholder and system requirements that are essential for defining and managing the behavior, scope, context, and complexity of the system
- Leads and reports on the development of system and sub-system test plans and validation plans
- Coordinate engineering direction concerning the integration of electronic sub-systems
- Analyze field data and customer feedback to understand and quantify performance/quality gaps and drive them to closure
- Create technical specifications and integration documentation for electronic control systems
- Coordinate resolution of system design and integration issues during development
- Position may occasionally require remote field support
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the design and manage changes if necessary
