Master Planner

Description:

Job Description:
1. This position provides Planning/Scheduling support to meet multiple immediate requirements across our client.
2. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
3. The ideal candidate will drive communication and integration across a variety of program functional organizations such as Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Business Management, Program Management and Manufacturing.
4. Candidate will need knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and be able to apply it in schedule network development and analysis.
5. This candidate will be able to perform complex schedule analysis and develop recommended courses of action to be delivered to internal and external customers.
6. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
7. Possess ability to prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required.
8. Must be outgoing, energetic, self-starter, flexible and demonstrate Program Planning and Scheduling hands on experience.
9. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Desired Skills:
1. Microsoft Project and/or Open Plan Experience, Milestones Professional Experience, Proven Planning and Scheduling Expertise, Demonstrated Earned value Management System (EVMS) Experience, Proposal Development Experience.


Education:
1. Level 3: BS+9-15 YRS or MS+7-13 YRS
2. Aerospace/Aviation, Program Master Planning/Scheduling Experience (This is not a Maintenance Scheduler position).
3. Candidate must be flexible to work on a variety of assignments and be able to work with other planners/schedulers and internal customer in a fast pace and changing environment.
