Quality Engineer

Description:
The Quality Engineer participates in the development, execution, and oversite of products and processes used in the manufacturing environment to ensure robust and cost-effective designs.

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications: 
-Must have Training or certification as AS9100 auditor and visible on the resume.
-Must have Quality Planning and Required Document creation -Six Sigma-Correction Action and continuous improvement
-Knowledgeable in quality software, quality systems, supply quality and records.
-Must have experience with Metrology/Calibration -Strong understanding of how businesses work; is knowledgeable in current quality practices and makes recommendations regarding future policies and practices.
-Must have advanced knowledge of product manufacture and inspection, testing and technology.
-In depth knowledge of problem-solving methods and techniques
-Knowledge of process management, technical specs, regulatory guidelines, and contractual requirements
-Excellent presentation skills
-Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions while in compliance with policies and procedures.
-Ability to work in cross-functional teams
-Is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
-Demonstrates a very advanced level of root-cause analysis
-Ability to solve complex problems and assist with the implementation of continuous breakthrough improvements.

Education Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or applicable science degree. Master's degree a plus.
-9 to 13 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience with a Master's degree
