Job Summary:

Responsible for providing engineering design support to Cessna Citation Service Centers in support of complex aircraft alterations. Manage small to large scale certification projects with responsibilities to include establishing systems design requirements, developing and presenting systems architecture concepts, completing systems design, and obtaining certification for the project.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for developing and completing complex engineering designs

Description:
The Avionics Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of the assigned avionic systems for the aircraft.

Previous Garmin experience is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Description:
CNC Machinist applies advanced skills in administration and use of procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment, as appropriate to area of specialization. 2. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide electrical engineering support to Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including planning, directing, and/or participating in aircraft and laboratory testing. Oversees systems modifications, installation, integration, and checkout functions. Performs test planning, data collection, and test data analysis. Seeking a lead Electrical Hardware Design Engineer. The individual selected for this position will be a proven leader with diverse technical capabilities and demonstrated “hands-on” electrical engineering expertise. This position focuses on circuit board designs for digital hardware in communication products. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join the digital hardware design group within Government Systems Communication Engineering. Visually examine materials, structures, or components using tools and equipment such as endoscopes, closed circuit television systems, and fiber optics for signs of corrosion, metal fatigue, cracks, or other flaws.
Inspect equipment or systems.
Produce radiographic images of objects on film to detect flaws in objects while leaving objects intact.
Measure physical or chemical properties of materials or objects.
Develop or use new non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as acoustic emission testing, leak testing, and thermal or infrared testing.
Identify defects in solid materials using ultrasonic testing techniques and map the presence of imperfections within objects using sonic measurements.
Test characteristics of materials or structures.
Prepare reports and document non-destructive testing (NDT) results, methods, and processes
Document design or operational test results.
Conduct liquid penetrant tests to locate surface cracks by coating objects with fluorescent dyes, cleaning excess penetrant, and applying developer.
Inspect finished products to locate flaws.
Evaluate material properties, using radio astronomy, voltage and amperage measurement, or rheometric flow measurement.
Identify defects in concrete or other building materials, using thermal or infrared testing.
Devise research or testing protocols.
This position may have supervisory requirements such as:

Supervise or direct the work of non-destructive testing (NDT) trainees or staff.
Supervise engineering or other technical personnel.
Requirements:

Must have current certification in NDT Testing UT

Ability to operate multiple types ultrasound transducers including an Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT)

Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews. Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets. Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Works under minimal direction.
Additionally...Candidates selected for this position will design, develop, maintain and release electronic / electrical / mechanical drawings and 3D MBD Model based definition data packages using CATIA V5. Duties include developing aircraft helicopter cockpit layouts, designing various instrument and switch panel assemblies, electronic boxes, avionics racks and shelves and all other aircraft type electrical and avionics aircraft installations. Responsible for investigating design precedents to document and maintain configuration control of engineering designs for use by downstream organizations, and developing aircraft electrical equipment configurations for multiple customers while applying company, industry, and governmental standards. Job requires strong technical skillset in CATIA V5 and 3D model based master definition engineering, as well as experience in creating and revising 2D engineering for details, assemblies, and installations for electrical equipment for aircraft applications. Experience with Teamcenter PDM is preferred.

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
