Senior Production Planners - Pinellas Park, FL

Description:
STS AeroStaff Services is currently hiring Senior Production Planners for open positions in Pinellas Park, Florida.

Job Duties:

• Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to specific portion of the product for guidance of production workers
• Plans detail operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other engineering releases
• Determines the need for tooling and makes recommendations for the design and planning of required tools
• Prepares shop work orders for materials and product processing and coordinates with schedulers to ensure that items are being processed according to specifications and time requirements
• Maintains progress reports, schedules, and other related records
• This role is responsible for reviewing production schedules and proactively identifying and resolving potential shortage issues
• The individual in this role will need to coordinate with multiple departments, including supply chain, engineering, and production to ensure schedules are met and resolve technical issues related to the procurement process
• This role will need to interfaces with all stakeholders, provide status updates and reports, and resolve potential schedule impacts
• This individual will also develop tools to monitor and track program status
• Some overtime required

Qualifications:

• Must have technical experience and understanding of manufacturing resource planning (MRP), engineering planning and bill of materials (BOM), and production scheduling
• Experience managing project schedules, identifying and resolving potential shortages and project impacts
• Experience interfacing with multiple departments and stakeholders, providing status updates and reports is required
• Demonstrated data analysis skills, including Excel and Power Point (Required)
