Sr. Composite Structural Design Engineer

Description:
Seeking a Sr. Composite Structural Design Engineer to develop solutions to a variety of complex or unusual problems or assignments requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Originates and/or modifies engineering protocols related to the design and development of aircraft structures, power plant component parts, mechanical and electrical systems and subsystems for commercial, military, executive, general aviation, or special purpose applications on operational aircraft.

Designs and develops structural, power plant and other operational and structural components that are used in operating aircraft. This includes producing or computer aided drawings and engineering reports.

Requirements:
• Must have 6-10 years of composite primary & secondary structural design experience.
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred but experience can used in lieu of education
• Must have experience with CATIA V5, SmarTeam, Composite Ply Definition, CPD or Fibersim
• Knowledge of ANSE Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing
