Job Description:
1. Strength Engineer to conduct strength analysis for structural design for the launch vehicle upper stage.
2. The strength analysis will include finite element analysis and hand calculations of components, small assemblies, and large assemblies.
3. Finite element analysis will use NASTRAN/FEMAP. Familiarity with non-linear analysis and material plasticity using NASTRAN and ABAQUS.
4. Knowledge of superelements will aid in efficient non-linear analysis.
5. Need someone with a min of 8 yrs exp
