Description:
Manage mid level complexity engineering management and project management for technical process improvement projects. Responsibilities include developing productivity tools, managing documentation, tracking schedules.
-Bachelors degree required
• Provide project engineering, coordination and other support with little to no guidance.
• Tracking and prioritizing multiple tasks through the MRB and Stress processes.
• Determining resource availability, delegating QNs/tasks and driving to completion by certain deadline.
• Generate SAP reports, collect and analyze data, create Excel charts and PowerPoint presentations, report progress and metrics.
• Promote and actively seek continuous improvement activities for a more robust process and to reduce errors and defects in manufacturing via structured and ad hoc real time problem resolution.
• Log and track database of audits findings, pending action items, corrective measures, and root cause analysis.
• Interfacing with multiple departments, sites and offsite teams proactively.
• Create and or generate Visual Controls that display status and identify bottlenecks or turn-backs.

• Preferred BS degree Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience with Quality Notifications (QN’s) and/or QN management required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) is required.
• The candidate must have the ability to work well with others in a team setting, but also be able to learn take on new tasks on their own.
• Excellent decision making and time management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints/mechanical drawings required.
• Proficiency with TeamCenter and SAP is a plus, but not required.
• Desired knowledge of Quality Management Systems metrics and standards.
• Composites experience desired.
• Experience as a Continuous Improvement Specialist, Lean Practitioner or Six Sigma Belted contributor.
