Software Engineer

Description:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
o Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
o Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
o Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
o Ensures software standards are met
o Elicit, derive, and document software and/or system requirements to meet internal or external customer specifications
o Define software/and or system architecture, design software modules, and produce associated documentation per corporate or customer standards
o Write and test software modules and integrate with other software and/or hardware components
o Object Oriented development in C++ and/or C#.
o Testing, design, and integration of software systems.
