Senior Electrical Engineer (5-7+ yrs exp)

Description:
Job Responsibilities:
• Design and development electronic circuit boards and systems
• Generate and review specifications
• Develop and release complete packages for manufacturing, including schematics, bills of materials, PCB fab documentation, etc.
• Test, debug, verify and integrate electronics assemblies and sub-systems
• Assist manufacturing with the resolution of production problems, as needed

Education:
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• MS Electrical Engineering preferred

Experience/Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience required
• Candidate must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance

Required Skills
• Experience with Mentor PCB development tools, including Xpedition, PADS, HyperLynx
• Excellent understanding of product development methodology and associated documentation

Preferred Skills
• Experience working in an AS9100 environment
• Background developing military/aerospace products and related environmental specifications and requirements, including EMC, temperature, altitude, power, etc.
• Knowledge of requirements and components needed to develop interconnecting cables is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong verbal and written technical communications skills
• Must be a self-starter
• 10% or less travel may be required
