Product Engineer (Aircraft)

Description:
The Product Engineer will be responsible for mid to high complexity projects with high complexity-related to general engineering and technical process improvements.

They will:
• Provide experienced sustaining engineering support to aircraft manufacturers, and other aftermarket customers.
• Provide experienced engineering support for operations, supply chain, quality, technical publications and program management.
• Provide sustaining engineering support to airlines and other aftermarket customers.
• Update engineering documentation through Engineering change orders and Document Change notices.
• Communicate with internal and external customers on a regular basis.
• Lead teams through problem investigation and solution/design approaches as well as continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide root cause and corrective action investigations.
• Have direct interface with external customers on engineering issue resolutions and product improvements.
• Support after hours Aircraft On Ground (AOG) airline/OEM requests as experience and knowledge is obtained
• Support Material Review Board (MRB) evaluation and disposition.
• Ensure quality products utilizing company quality procedures.
• Audit work areas for safety compliance.
• Adhere to all company rules and codes of conduct.

Education
Bachelor of Science - STEM, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer, General Engineering, Engineering Physics, or similar.
