The Avionics Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of the assigned avionic systems for the HondaJet aircraft.

Job Responsibilities:
Serves as a Development Lead for multifaceted reengineering of systems to support business operations.
Designs develop and manage the implementation of cloud-based and SOA based Integrated Booking System framework, methodology, and tools to ensure business continuity of operations across a large, multi-division, decentralized organization.
Supports multi-language, multi-platform, and multi-operating system operations and utilizes electronic commerce and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) applications.

Ensures database data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate solutions of varying complexities.
Ensures database recoverability by developing and implementing a schedule of database backups and archive operations.
Plans and implements the modernization of database implementations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate will be responsible for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and documentation utilizing Zuken CR-8000 software. Must be able to interface efficiently with mechanical and electrical stakeholders. Effort will consist of simultaneous oversight of multiple cards as they progress through schematic capture, PCB placement and routing, and the creation of fabrication and assembly documentation. Completed PCB designs will be subject to review by the Producibility team to ensure future manufacturing issues are kept to a minimum. This Diagnostic Modeler position requires an engineer capable of performing analysis of reliability, maintainability, and system health of aircraft subsystems. Candidarte should have a working knowledge of Fault Detection, Fault Isolation, False Alarm Mitigation, and No Fault Found (Can Not Duplicate). You will develop diagnostic models from schematics, FMECAs, and other available supplier documentation. The chosen candidate will translate these models to a Times Failure Propagation Graph (TFPG) model via scripts. The chosen candidate will also translate the information from the diagnostic models to MATLAB\SIMLINK models via scripts. The chosen candidate will work with a real-time software development team to create the Real Time Maintenance Computing (RTMC) application or other fault diagnostic reasoning engines.

Description:
Displays knowledge of Electrical Theory and usage of NEC and NFPA 79 in the assembly of machines with AC and DC circuits. You will work with the latest generations of aircraft platforms (both commercial and military).

You should have a working knowledge of Fault Detection, Fault Isolation, False Alarm Mitigation, and No Fault Found (Can Not Duplicate). You will develop diagnostic models from schematics, FMECAs, and other available supplier documentation. The chosen candidate will translate these models to a Times Failure Propagation Graph (TFPG) model via scripts. The chosen candidate will also translate the information from the diagnostic models to MATLAB\SIMLINK models via scripts. Electronics Technician

Description:
PDS Tech is seeking Electronics Technicians / Assemblers for frequent openings in Clearwater, FL. 


In your role, you will:
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures.
  • Install components, units, subassemblies, wiring and assembly casings using rivets, bolts, soldering and micro-welding equipment.
  • Hand solder components under a microscope.  Fine pitch soldering experience is required.
  • Use hand tools and work instructions to assemble units according to product specifications.
  • Use engineering diagrams/Mil-Standard specs (IPC) and schematics in a production environment.

Qualifications:
  • Fine pitch soldering experience is required is a plus 
  • 5 years experience in electronics assembly preferred.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology desired.

Desired Certifications:

  • IPC J-STD-001:  Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies
  • IPC-7711/7721: Rework and Repair of Electronic Assemblies
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620:  Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies

Job Summary:
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences; lays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.

Adjusts and calibrates systems as required. Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. Determines types of tests to be performed, approves and suggests modifications to testing equipment, and analyzes test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment. Assists engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommends product improvements or manufacturing modifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Troubleshoots to the component level. Utilizes schematic diagrams to isolate failures on Analog and Digital circuitry. Requires a strong knowledge of Solid State devices and micro-circuitry. Works in a dynamic production environment and is able to produce at a high level in support of customer schedules.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 1 Year of experience.

- Radio Frequency troubleshooting experience is desired
- Must be willing to work overtime
Proficient in the use of various measurement devices including Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, signal generators, and RF Power Meters.

Basic Qualifications :
1 year of direct experience
Proficient in component level troubleshooting of solid state, digital, and RF circuits.
Able to use Microsoft Suite and other data collection programs to accurately document maintenance actions.

Desired skills :
RF component level troubleshooting
Spea Flying Probe experience
ICT experience
Familiarity with Radar Systems
