Systems Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
2. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
3. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
4. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelors or above degree in engineering/technical discipline
2. Experience with electrical hardware design and setup
3. Experience with lab development

Desired skills:
1. Experience with hardware and software integration
2. Experience with development of test plans
3. Experience with sub-system integration
4. Experience with test procedure development
5. Experience with avionics and software
6. Experience with requirements development and integration and test processes
7. Software development or software scripting skills (C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python)
8. Active Top Secret Clearance

Education:
1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
