Avionics Engineer

Description:
****MUST have an Active Secret Clearance or to have had one within the last 2 years****

Job Description:
1. Supports development, design, integration and test function of Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics, SW, hydraulics, etc.
2. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, FAA compliance, availability, safety and cost.

Job Qualifications:
1. Experience with Aircraft Avionics systems and/or the F-16 datalink systems (i.e., IDM, Link 16, MIDS).
2. Familiarity with Avionics systems, Vehicle systems & the systems supporting integration & test and debug.
3. Experience with the verification and sell off of a subsystem to a customer through formal test events.
4. Experience developing subsystem design/engineering documentation.
5. Experience with Agile Software Development and/or SCRUM processes.
6. Strong oral written communication skills
7. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
8. Strong work ethic and self-motivation
9. Strong Interpersonal & Collaboration Skills
10. Proficient with MS Office products including Excel spreadsheet, scheduling and Database applications; excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical skills.
11. Needs to have the ability to convey technical data and concepts in concise messages and presentations.

1. Level 2: BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
