Configuration Management Specialist

Description:
**Prefer someone direct for this role, but will consider a contractor.**

Required skills:
• Configuration Management experience required
• Experience with Airbus is a plus
• Experience with “change boards” required
• Experience with SmarTeam required.
• BS degree required
• Background utilizing DOORS is a plus
• Combination of responsibilities/duties related to configuration of the product. This role has responsibility to ensure everyone understands processes and program goals. Training others may be periodically required to ensure compliance.
• Ensure that milestones and deliverables are met
• Ensure that all organizations are working together
• Deliver product to the same objectives with the same quality standards and expectations.




Job Description:
Applies extensive knowledge of principles, theories, concepts and industry practices to
plan, direct, and coordinate the engineering design, integration, analysis and certification of company products and processes for manufacturing of complete aircraft parts, components, subsystems and complete systems for operational aircraft.

Formal Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience:
Bachelor degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited four-year college or university and five (5) or more years related experience and/or training.
